Most importantly, I love bringing it all together in home educating my own six children. We have been on this adventure of learning together for 15 wonderful years. Teaching my own children ignites my love of learning and fuels my passion and drive to be the best version of myself.
Not only am I a full time home educator and professional CELTA qualified English Language teacher, but I’m passionate about the joy of learning. In addition to teaching English, I have gained much teaching experience in my community over the past couple of decades; from faith based learning in teaching catechesis in preparation for the sacraments, hosting ladies prayer groups and bible studies to leading song and story time at mother and child groups, and being a foundation governor at a local catholic school.
I’m extremely interested in people, in their lives and stories, thoughts and opinions. I love nothing more than to sit with a teapot, a cup and saucer and a willing participant to talk about the world.
We have had the pleasure of welcoming immersion students into our family, and I consider myself privileged to be the English mama of so many wonderful humans! We are a genuinely open hearted family, who gladly receive friends into our warm home to cosy up on the sofa, adventure through books, wrap up warm and walk the English countryside, bake traditional English goodies, celebrate poetry, debate philosophy, light candles, pray and reflect.
I created The English Advantage to welcome your child into our home, to nurture them through a Christian way of life, and empower them by providing language and cultural studies.

Ben Frost
Father, Husband, Hero
Are there any other words? Ben is the rock of the family. Calm and patient he rides any day with peace. He loves to exercise especially running and swimming, his greatest achievement to date was an ultra run last November!
Elouise Frost
Elouise is a fun loving, sociable 15 year old. Her first love is music, especially singing! She sings with Canterbury Choral Society, and the church choir, and anywhere! She finds joy in every situation and laughs her (very loud) laugh at any given opportunity.
Cohen Frost
Cohen is our philosophical 12 year old. He loves History, philosophy, reading and classics. He's always up for a DEEP and MEANINGFUL conversation, but don't let that fool you that he is serious. HE's just as likely to prank you!
Annabelle Frost
Annie is full of life! She started walking (running!) at only 8 months and has not stopped almost a decade later! She's 9 years old, and loves any form of exercise and science. She's competitive and hardworking. Loves to bake and play the guitar.
Lily-Mae Frost
Lily is a sensitive and determined 7 year old. Lily is very creative, she loves art, fashion and singing. She is considerate and kind, usually putting other people before herself.
Felicity Frost
If you can't find 5 year old Felicity go and check the garden! Felicity spends 90% of her free time outside. She loves nature, animals, reptiles and insects and even has her very own bearded dragon. Content to spend hours in her own company, she loves thinking and playing.
Maria Frost
Maria is a very funny 3 year old. She loves to make people laugh, and play imaginative games. She is very sociable and loves having someone to play with (any age will do!).
Lila
Bearded dragon extraordinaire! Lila is the youngest member of the family, at only 5 months. She loves to watch the family at mealtimes and is always delighted when its time to come out of her cage for some cuddles. She loves to explore, and is very curious.
